MUSIC
As a composer, I create short-form soundtracks that blend digital nostalgia with emotional storytelling. My work often draws on pixel-art aesthetics, using chiptune-inspired textures and minimal arrangements to capture moods ranging from playful and mischievous to dreamy and reflective. I aim to craft music that feels both memorable and atmospheric, enhancing immersion while leaving space for the audience’s imagination.
PIECES
ALMOGHOST.EXE JINGLE
This four-second jingle was composed as the sonic identity for almoghost.exe, my personal brand. With its quick, bit-inspired “up-and-down” melody, it echoes the playful eeriness of a digital ghost. The sequence of notes feels spectral, embodying the brand’s themes of games, pixels, and digital worlds while staying instantly recognisable. Despite its brevity, the jingle encapsulates the character of almoghost.exe: ghostly and digital.
KIBBLE
The soundtrack for Kibble is a dreamy, reflective loop designed to mirror the game’s themes of memory and companionship. Built with soft chiptune-inspired tones, the piece creates a calming, almost lullaby-like atmosphere. Its gentle repetition evokes the feeling of recalling formative moments: in this case, the act of feeding a newly adopted dog for the first time. Rather than drawing focus, the track works as a musical backdrop to memory itself, enhancing the game’s emotional impact while maintaining a sense of warmth and comfort.
TANGENT BOOK CLUB
The soundtrack for Tangent Book Club is a short, loopable 8-bit composition lasting around 15 seconds. Calm and upbeat, it connects with the conversations of the club, echoing the cheerful distraction of their tangents. Its simplicity keeps the focus on dialogue while setting a warm, welcoming tone for the pixelated setting. By looping seamlessly, the track creates a steady background rhythm, much like the ongoing chatter of a group of friends — familiar, light, and endlessly circling back.
